I apologize to Peter/redyucca for being so harsh and using language he found offensive. I confess that living in Texas for ten years has certainly taught me that Southerners take very high offense at that word which is used loosely on the East Coast where I grew up. I knew I was offending Peter more than anyone else when I used it and so I apologize and ask for forgiveness without giving any excuse.
I also apologize for not turning the other cheek when I should have. I have no excuse for that except that I seem to have a natural combative streak in me. It served me well in some periods of my life but it does not serve me well today and so I ask your prayers in helping me outgrow it.
I apologize to Dave for being disrespectful to him in saying things that could have been said more gently.
But I ask an apology in return, Dave. You seem to be manipulating with sly little jabs suggesting you are humoring a mentally ill person when in fact I gave you hard documentation of what I face as a survivor in a politically connected, corrupt family in my country. I don't know why you are doing it because you clearly have direct experience with the corruption in this country, in which all it took was one comment accusing J-C's of "culthood" to stop a very simple assault & battery arrest against a couple of men obviously trying to kill one of your brethren.
I am really not surprised Peter called me crazy because if he has never lived in on the East Coast of the USA he has never actually met the kind of mafia people he sees on television. They are no more real to him than Peter Pan. But you know better, Dave, you are older, more experienced, and in fact your loved ones have been targetted in much the same way my family has been targetted.
So I think you owe me an apology for all the subtle jabs at my sanity at the same time as I apologize to everyone for the way I reacted.
